Despite the continuing arguments between the US and Iran, it seems as though Mike Pompeo is saying otherwise. Regardless of tensions it seems leaders are not wanting this war, because of course, who does?
Speaking in Russia, Mr Pompeo said the US was looking for Iran to behave like a "normal country" but would respond if its interests were attacked. Meanwhile, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also said there will be no war with the US. Yet both countries continue to prepare for the worst and seem to be poking one another to make the first move. A lot like what happened with North Korea and the US? Although, it is unlikely the Iran will submit to the demands of the United State. What do you think? Leave your thoughts below!
