Who is Krishna? In Hinduism, Krishna is the 8th avatar of Vishnu and is often referred to as the "Supreme God". He is the god of compassion, tenderness, and love in Hinduism. Now who does this sound like? Perhaps it sounds a little like Christ himself? Hear me out on this as the likenesses don't just end with their names. There has been proof discovered recently that tie all of this together!
Yeshua and Krishna are both believed to be sons of an Almighty God
Both of their births were foretold and there was an antagonist in both stories who tried to do something to kill the newborn baby
Both were born in unusual locations. Krishna was born in a prison cell and Yeshua was born in a manger
Krishna was depicted as a cowherd and Yeshua a shepherd
Krishna and Yeshua came in a time where their respected countries were in a state of chaos
Krishna and Yeshua both had a similar message of love and peace
Krishna and Yeshua were killed with sharp objects. Krishna an arrow, Christ nails (or the spear that pierced him)
Krishna's blue skin is often the color most shown with "Christ Consciousness"
Some Hindus believe that Yeshua was another Avatar for Vishnu
Krishna and Yeshua were saviours of mankind and Avatars for the Supreme God
Want an example of similarities in their teachings? Take a look at these quotes from Krishna:
"Whenever, O Arjuna, righteousness declines, and unrighteousness prevails, my body assumes human form and lives as a human being."
"In order to protect the righteousness and also to punish the wicked, I incarnate myself on this earth from time to time."
Now take a look at this one from Yeshua:
"If God were your Father, ye would love me; for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself but He sent me."
Want a more striking similarity? Let's take one of the most well-known quotes from Yeshua:
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well…"
Then, almost the same statement from Krishna:
"I am the way, come to Me…Neither the multitude of gods nor great sages knows my origin, for I am the source of all the gods and great sages."
Lastly
Krishna: "That man attains peace who lives devoid of longing, free from all desires and without the feeling of 'I' and 'mine'. This is the Brahman state…"
Yeshua: "Him that overcometh 'I' will make a pillar in the temple of my God and he shall go no more out."
Before you leave, or maybe you're just wondering who Ra-El is, it is the holy name that was hidden in the Bible, in Revelation, the new name that Christ would return with. "The Word of God". It is said in the End Time that the final incarnation of Vishnu, Kalki, would descend upon a White Horse and bring an end to the current Kali Yuga. He would also wield a flaming sword.
Christ and his angels of heaven, although these angels might not be what Christians expect and perhaps something more what you would know from the Vimana that were flown in the Mahabharata!
