Hello, Hive gaming community!
Today I want to tell you about a hunt against two brown Tigrex in the volcano. I was accompanied by a fellow hunter wearing armor made from Akantor materials and wielding dual blades crafted from the same monster. As for me, I chose Alatreon armor and a switch axe made from its materials. We were well equipped, but we would soon discover that this was not enough to make us feel safe.

The air grew hotter as we moved forward. Ash drifted between the rocks, and beneath our feet the ground seemed to tremble with the volcano’s activity. We were crossing a narrow passage when a roar made us stop. The first brown Tigrex emerged from the smoke and charged straight at us.
I rolled aside to avoid its jaws. My companion seized the opportunity and attacked one of its flanks with his dual blades. The fight had barely begun when we heard another roar. The second Tigrex was coming down a slope of volcanic rock, raising a cloud of dust behind it.
We exchanged a quick glance and made a decision without speaking: we had to keep them apart. My companion drew the first one toward an open area while I tried to hold off the second near a river of lava.

That Tigrex attacked with incredible force. I blocked one of its blows with my switch axe, but the impact pushed me back several steps. When it charged again, I dodged to the side and struck one of its legs. In the distance, I could see my companion circling the other monster, landing quick slashes whenever he found an opening.
Then a charge threw him against a rock wall. I wanted to run over and help, but my Tigrex blocked the way. I switched my weapon to sword mode and struck hard enough to stagger it. Those few seconds let me reach my companion, who was already getting back to his feet.
“One at a time,” he said, gripping his blades tightly.
I nodded. We focused our attacks on the Tigrex that had knocked him down. I held its attention from the front while my companion attacked from the sides. After an exhausting exchange, the monster fell onto the blackened rock.

We had no time to celebrate. The second Tigrex emerged from the smoke and charged at us, but now we could face it together. We moved out of its path at the last moment. My companion struck one of its legs with his Akantor blades, and I brought my Alatreon switch axe down against its side. The monster tried to rise one last time before collapsing beside the first.
For a few seconds, we stood in silence, listening to the volcano rumble as we caught our breath. Then my companion raised one of his dual blades, and I lifted my switch axe in response. We had completed the hunt, and making it out of there together made the victory feel even better.
