Sumbrada by the river!

Hello there! Here we are at the Vera Katz esplanade, during the Sunday drum circle. @aerisheir and @ganjafarmer are doing some sumbrada with the LED Sabers. They have a nice flow going, just hitting the basics.

These types of drills are great to build up lots of things at once. Timing is key! You can get into a good flow, then speed it up or slow it down. You can break the tempo up and see where you could insert more moves around the timing. Then it's one person feeding the other for an advantage. You can train someone to get into a predictable flow pretty quick.

Footwork is foundational to everything. Being able to move around is going to save your life. You can see they are both moving to stay out of the other's line of attack. They are also angling their bodies to avoid the attacks while still being in position to deliver the next attack. Good work guys!
