After all this time of occasionally collecting a card here and there from giveaways and playing a few practice matches I have finally purchased my Splinterlands spell book. The vallue of the spell book and an old pack I have a token for in Steem (I forgot about it) should cover the initial costs with the rest of the SPS air drop over the next year.
Anyone out there reading this that actually has not started playing Splinterlands? I know we have a lot of new Hive members and that means new Splinterlands players as well.
Any tips for new players? Is trying to join a guild worth it? What type of summoners and monsters should I try to collect and play with? Potions worth the price? When are the new Splinterlands cards being released? Are the Azmare Dice worth the Dark Energy Crystal?
I am sure I have many more questions but those are the only ones that come to mind at the moment. I will be looking up some Splinterlands guides I have seen posted on Hive by other players. Probably going to skip to the newer ones due to all the updates.
Now I am off to battle some monsters, earn some cards and DEC, then post some giveaways!!!
