I've invested into another Hive game, dCity. The in game token is SIM. If you are going to purchase cards buy SIM on Hive Engine and use them to purchase cards instead of Hive. If you use Hive to purchase cards they are 4 Hive each. If you use SIM they are only 800 SIM each card, which is around 1.8 Hive when I bought 2400 SIM to try out the game.
My first cards were; a 2nd edition solar plant, a 2nd edition farm, and a 3rd edition graveyard.
The graveyard gives me a -10 popularity. I might burn it or sell it. I'm not sure.
The Solar Plant is the only active card so far but soon enough more digital people will come to live in my dCity.
My current income is 1 SIM. I am on my way to slowly making that 2400 SIM back!!! Of course, I always have the cards themselves which still retain their own value.
My current city value is 1655 SIM. Already down 745 SIM... I am optimistic that I will earn that back.
