I've been working remotely (at home) since March 2020 and I never want to go back to the office. What for? Get up way earlier to get dressed nicer drive 45 minutes to the office in the middle of the largest city in Texas, pay for parking, deal with ridiculous COVID restrictions, have to bring my lunch or spend money eating out, then drive back home another 45 minutes. No benefit for me. I work more at home and they get more out of me. Win-win for both of us. Those pushing for return to the office have trust issues and a power trip.
