Splinterlands season rewards + NFT giveaway chaser

Splintershards SPS is outlined by Splinterlands Roadmap / SPS white paper as having a much greater significance, which will be expanded upon now that the SPS airdrop is over.

As investors in, fans of, & players of Splinterlands at the moment we should have a prerogative of accumulating as much SPS as possible.

The question is how?

I never encourage investing anything out of pocket, so today I'm going to go over ways of generating Splinterlands assets like SPS, as we wait for the SPS use cases to begin.

Disclaimer: This write up is intended for informational purposes only & is not intended as financial advice I'm not a financial advisor, always do your own research before investing in anything.

What is Splinterlands

I have a bad habit of starting write ups under the assumption everyone understands the context.

So for those unaware Splinterlands my focus of this write up is a P2E game based on the HIVE blockchain with asset integrations on WAX & BSC.

The best part about this TCG style P2E is its lack of gas fees, yes it can be played without paying for gas fees.

Splinterlands will cost you $10 USD for a Spell book allowing players to keep NFTs & Crypto earned playing.

While many would inaccurately accuse this game of being a Pay To Earn more then a Play To Earn, you couldn't be more wrong personally Splinterlands has earned me over $30,000 USD in pure profit.

Now if something like Splinterlands interests you, please join myself & the legion of Splinterlands Fans via my referral link below.

Liquidity Pools & Splinterlands

What is a Liquidity pool? Coin Desk Defines a Liquidity pool as quote: "A collection of tokens or digital assets locked in a smart contract that provide essential liquidity to decentralized exchanges."

Its important the investor in question understands the risks of Liquidity pools namely the concept of temporary loss. Since the investors assets are providing collateral to facilitate the exchange between 2 assets when used you end up with 1 of the 2 assets in a liquidity pool.

So liquidity pools featuring an asset you believe may be inherently risky is ill advised, as if the market does trade out of the bad asset you will likely get stuck with it.

This isn't the only possible result just be warry of liquidity pools inherent risks.

Splinterlands recently added a SPS liquidity pool page to the browser version of their game recently.

If I'm not mistaken these are strictly the Diesel Pools on the HIVE blockchain.

HIVE diesel pools are rather unique many feature rewards pools for those providing liquidity to them.

Not all HIVE liquidity pools feature active rewards pools for providing liquidity so their rewards are finite in nature.

What I'm saying is I check in on liquidity pools specifically HIVE diesel pools more then say staking.

You can find HIVE Diesel pools here:
https://tribaldex.com/dieselpools/pools
https://beeswap.dcity.io/swap?pools

Be aware there are risks to liquidity pools.

Cheap Power Plays

A recent segment in which I cover cheap Splinterlands Cards that are shockingly powerful & reasonably cheap.

Djinn Biljka Is a legendary rewards card selling on average for less then $1 each. Djinn Biljka Possesses the Camouflage ability:

While exceptions do apply Camouflage typically prohibits the unit from being attacked outside first position in the stack.

Selling for $0.01 each on average a level 10 Pelacor Deceiver will cost you on average $4. With a 5 Mana cost boasting 10 health 5 speed & 3 attack with the flying, Backfire, & Retaliate abilities.

Backfire deals 2 damage when the monster is missed, accuracy is calculated on non magic attack types in Splinterlands taking your teams speed averaged against one another. Favoring the faster teams accuracy meaning this Backfire ability is one with a diverse application.

The best part about Splinterlands is there is no 1 right answer or build, my habit is to gravitate towards finding exploits in games. Splinterlands game mechanics have few if any they dont almost immediately rectify.

So the question falls to preference & proficiency the cheapest & most effective means to an end.

Season rewards

Unfortunately I finished far short of my 50 chest average, this season I could only managed 39 Diamond tier 2 seasonal rewards chests.

I play in the wild match type only for reference.

Not great but admittedly after winning over $200 last season I got a little lax this season.

Splinterlands & WAX

Blockchains vary in capabilities & complexity WAX is on of Splinterlands Paired Blockchains that exclusively allows users to buy / sell Splinterlands NFTs.

WAX strictly acting as the Splinterlands NFT markets do not allow you to buy sell or transfer Splinterlands crypto / totems / licenses.

While WAX does restrict certain token usage it does strive at NFT functionality.

Splinterlands Packs, Plots, & Cards can be found on WAX NFT markets.

Nefty Blocks a WAX NFT market has a few rewards for its users.

So you likely want as you would with Splinterlands assets DEC / SPS a consistent stream of WAX revenue.

You can provide NEFTY / WAX liquidity stake NEFTY or buy & sell WAX NFTs for rewards on Nefty Blocks.
https://neftyblocks.com/

For users that I have sent Splinterlands NFTs to their WAX wallet & wish to utilize them in game first pair your WAX wallet to Splinterlands.

Then go to Atomic Hub Splinterlands tools via the link below.
https://splinterlands.atomichub.io/tools/overview/splinterlands
You can deposit cards packs & plots via the deposit tool.

This is complicated but if you understand what it takes to portal NFTs to & from WAX this is a fantastic job.

Some more WAX earning tips Rplanet their NFT staking dont bother trust me, however they do have a different WAX based rewards system.
https://rplanet.io/

Staking RDOA a Rplanet WAX alt on Rplanets Governance page.

A continuous WAX income is a great option to supplement your Splinterlands portfolio.

What Now I have WAX

Shameless self-promotion I would visit my wax wallet & brows what I have for sale.
https://neftyblocks.com/profile/akyqy.wam

If your more concerned with helping yourself as appose to me I understand, it only hurts a little.

In all seriousness WAX is where you will want to sell most of the time from WAX you then either send the WAX to your HIVE wallet or better yet buy Splinterlands Credits.

With Splinterlands Credits I recommend you visit this HIVE Splinterlands market.
https://www.cardauctionz.com/
Buy summoners on card auctions & then resell them for DEC, when done correctly you nearly nix market fees with NEFTY rewards on WAX + Cashback on Card Auctions.

Observing DEC & WAX prices for the greatest profit margin is advised, as for NFTs I'm buying with intent to resell I try keeping the price under $5 as a rule of thumb.

The lower the sticker cost the higher the probability consumers just purchase it without shopping around.

You can think of cheap NFTs like an impulse buy meaning lower prices typically carry higher profit margins.

Packs sell the fastest & you can actually view packs as a game of chance meaning many buy them to open them knowing inherent risks.

Splinterlands Packs are actually one of the fairest odds when games of chance are concerned due to potions.

As a player & investor you want these packs to circulate find owners then get opened all Splinterlands Packs are non renewable resources with finite production numbers.

Look at Fossil Fuels or better yet the mineral Palladium used in catalytic converters on fuel powered automobiles Palladium however is a finite terrestrial resource.

You can draw comparisons to artificial scarcity & legitimate scarcity the difference being as consumers we are privy to more info with the artificial variety.

Splinterlands asset supply V.S overall demand sets your price point Chaos legion packs set their prices based on DEC prices currently.

So the secondary market having less perks sells typically around $0.50 USD less then sticker price.

The Secondary Market Price for Chaos legion packs average between $1.70 -$2 this is basically set by us the individual markets supply & demand.

Unlike say Gasoline there is nothing stopping users from cornering or controlling a market other then competition.

This is why Splinterlands markets are so special its a truly free market, with all the benefits & risks that entails.

Why you should giveaway NFTs.

One thing I have learned from giving away thousands of dollars in NFTs & crypto is it benefits everyone.

Will every NFT given away get new players in our market likely not but it has an impact over time.

Giving individuals a prize is a singular event with no guarantee of gaining Splinterlands a new player.

However a prize with the right information & encouragement can end with a new Splinterlands player.

Its like relying on me to continually give you food or taking the tools & advice I give you to produce your own.

I truly want you to use the tools I give you to succeed at Splinterlands & HIVE / WAX in general, we all benefit when one of us succeeds.

Its fine if you just want a prize I'm even thrilled if your already a player because commerce is, despite what many believe to the contrary, a team sport.

This is why I encourage paying it forward Its what I have done since I could afford to do so.

Greed will inevitably be Blockchains undoing, we must focus on benefits of Blockchain outside personal profit, this is why I give so much away.

Economic value is meaningless without society, ultimately we need to help one another.

Robots & cats teach us about Society

Games are more of an artistic medium then we usually give them credit for, a new title Stray in which you play as a stray cat adventuring through a dystopian future can actually teach you a lot about yourself.

In the video above wisecrack goes over a new videogame Stray & what its titular character a stray cat in a post apocalyptic future can teach us about our modern society as well as our place in it.

By taking a deeper look at the robotic society & the Stray cat finds itself in it, we the player begin to observe parallels to our own capitalist society, as well as the detriment associated with capitalistic societal advancement.

When we view things in purely economic terms it can be quite detrimental to the psychological health of society & the citizens mental health.

In the worst case scenarios Citizens experience Non-recognition or misrecognition from the capitalist society as a whole, this can actually be quite damaging to the individuals psyche.

Our base need for societal interaction can be our saving grace, remembering while we view the world in monetary terms, economic systems are a facet of society, not all society has to offer.

HIVE gives us tools to be our best selves fighting censorship promoting self expression & community. Our culture becomes lacking when individuals cant express what truly makes us unique.

Blockchain came about as an economic tool originally & there is a place for economic systems within a community. HIVE is an example of how tools are inherently neither good or evil, but can be used to do both.

Weather a stray cat & a colection of futuristic robots or something more recognizable community is fundamental. I'm not an altruist you may not realize this but a few childhood friends of mine have committed murder, that's not great, its traumatizing. I actually got one of my dogs from a friend of mine that ended his aunts life.

The world gets dark, shockingly having seen much of that, despite this I believe we posses the capacity to help one another. No one can do this alone try your best to help others & learn from your interactions with them.

Shocking the lessons one can gleam from a game in which you control a stray cat, that helps robots, that are collectively trying to become more like humanity.

New Card reveal

For the uninitiated Splinterlands packs are unique in that the potential contents can change over their launch. Chaos legion packs for instance add cards for every 1,000,000 Packs sold in game.

Conqueror Jacek was recently announced as being the next card added to the chaos legion packs.

Counting the next card to be added Splinterlands will have added 9 legendary cards to the chaos legion Packs. I'm not sure how familiar you are with averages or probability, but suffice it to say. Increasing the number of possible legendary cards can significantly alter the odds of profiting on any 1 pack.

The last card added was also an OP summoner, Summoners are the most important part of a players build. What this means is summoners usually hold a higher average value.

An idea of an average price for other Summoners from past packs gives them a value 3x-9x greater then monsters from the same packs & rarity.

Soon to be 3 they just need to sell 400,000 Packs a little over a week is my estimate at time of writing.
