Today I am smoking some of my outdoor 馃槍 Northern lights. Not as dense as I was hoping but look at the trichomes their just starting to turn amber. Now that the fun is over I'm going to be a bit of a buzz kill today because for today's post I am going over drugs that I personally don't think anyone should use. As my previous posts would suggest have a fairly open mind. Medications are not intended as something to be used recreationally personally i feel that people should strictly use plants & alcohol to get their rocks off.
However I like the sea turtle stuck in a 6 pack don't care for synthetic garbage that will likely be here in a century. I hate synthesized drugs meaning that this chemical is not a derivative from nature but a synthesized chemical ment to function like one.
There's actually a fairly large number of pharmaceuticals that are synthesized as well as many that are derived from plants. In this post I intend to give examples of synthesized drugs that being prescribed by doctors in recent years that are far deadlier than derivatives that they claim are so deadly. Now don't miss understand me here every substance is dangerous you can overdose on literally everything that you need to live. Several derivatives are quite dangerous cyanide cytotoxic and Strychnine are all very deadly and are all derivatives. However they occur naturally in a less concentrated state heck you can derive cyanide sucrose from Apple 馃崕 seeds.

Synthesized definition in chemistry
the production of chemical compounds by reaction from simpler materials.
While some synthesized treatments are effective, there is a possibility that the effectiveness in the short-term will mean that it's healthy in the long term. The long term effects & even environmental effects are not well known most of the time patients are actually the test sample that shows how deadly they can be. For example i had been prescribed two medications that had made it past testing and later where found to cause health issues. Damage to the patient's health was the least concerning fact however. Both Ultram and diclofenac also known as Voltaren are synthesized drugs made to function similarly to a derivative with no natural source. Because these substances are synthetic we have no reference point for how long they can stay in the water table and environment. Typically even poisonous substances are broken down via natural processes however synthetic chemicals have been found to pass through the organism in question and enter the water cycle. There is evidence that both diclofenac and Ultram do not break down naturally.

It turns out that the occurrence of this compound in the roots of the plant are due to anthropogenic contamination with the synthetic material. Given that I was prescribed this i had a Google alert setup for it and I was shocked 馃槻 when I realized that the drug was able to be consumed digested & still be able to be absorbed by plants through the water.

My next prescription that was an ecological disaster Voltaren found to be poisoning vultures that feed on cattle that had ingested it. Diclofenac is toxic to vultures even in small doses causing kidney failure. That results in uric acid accumulating in the birds' blood and crystallizing around their internal organs鈥攁 condition called visceral gout though not as severe in humans it is still deadly. For example one of the first red flags was while reading the side-effects and I found out Voltaren can cause black urine. What should scare you the most however is that to date there's no law preventing Voltaren tainted beef from being sold for human consumption. This is left to the distributor and the local agricultural purity standards. Realistically you could be consuming something that kills vultures on a regular basis and be unaware. Kinda gives a whole new meaning to secret ingredients & special sauce 馃.

Those first two are scary but this next one is racking up a kill count that would make master chief blush. Fentanyl is a medications 馃拪 most often prescribed for addiction treatment. Addiction treatment since the opioid crisis legislation passed by Trump has skyrocketed. This is due mostly to the fact that the majority of the medications that had been prescribed for effective pain management where opiates. When the new legislation took effect every person who had been prescribed any narcotic was required to drug test monthly. Regardless of patient's conditions they where forced submit to drug screenings even with cannabis legally prescribed to them any result with THC automatically marks the patient's chart as a substance abuser. Doing so would force the patient to utilize the addiction treatment alternative.
The rate of drug overdose deaths involving synthetic opioids other than methadone, which include drugs such as fentanyl, fentanyl analogs, and tramadol, increased from 0.3 per 100,000 in 1999 to 1.0 in 2013, 1.8 in 2014, 3.1 in 2015, and 6.2 in 2016. The rate increased on average by 18% per year from 1999 to 2006, did not statistically change from 2006 to 2013, then increased by 88% per year from 2013 to 2016. This last statistic is important due to the rapid increase in 2016 This is strictly for synthesized drugs. Derivative drugs are not included in this I'll get to them eventually. The law changes had an immediate effect on the total number of overdoses the national average decreased by 2%. However though the amount of overdoses slightly decreased early stats from 2020 have been suggesting that it may be our worst year on record.
From 2016 to 2019 the percentage of deaths attributed to synthesized opiates went from 27% to 42%. Fentanyl has actually been finding its way into local heroine . The number of deaths attributed to heroine in 2019 was 22% of the total number of overdoses. Many of the deaths where caused by fentanyl only 22% where confirmed to be heroine.
What many people fail to realize is the CDC the organization that is recording the overdose stats. Consider every medication regardless of potency in one statistic. In other words they consider Norco to be just as responsible as oxycodone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone. This is not the case however the majority of the evidence indicates that the overdoses are more likely attributed to the extremely strong substances like oxycodone and morphine. What they have effectively achieved with the oppiod crisis legislation is taking weaker medications that are less dangerous away & replaced them with a drug that is much more likely to kill them.
Addictive substance regardless of strength are dangerous. Prescription drugs such as Norco have their uses arguably in certain cases Norco is healthier than NSAID use. This depends on what exactly your medical issue is for instance those whom are likely to bleed internally from a medical condition or those who have diminished kidney functions can die from a NSAID. Even if substances are addictive when used properly they can be less dangerous than non addictive alternatives. A major issue with focusing on overdose stats alone is that they are only giving you part of the picture. While yes od stats where high in the same area at the same time how many people die from medication side-effects that are attributed to natural causes. This is the problem with this kind of information toxicology would not be able to detect death caused by a long term use of motrin for example. It would likely be a stroke or heart attack attributed to natural causes that are not natural.
I am fairly concerned that what we saw in the 2% drop off in 2018 was simply because people likely didn't have the resources to start addiction treatment programs yet and they had a shortage of drugs for the interval between getting treatment programs setup and banning opiate use. Now however the market has been filled with these new medication that are deadlier & more prevalent than ever before. The slight dip in overdoses brought the national average to a little over 68,000 in 2018. Fentanyl and suboxin are two medications that are far deadlier than anything that the black market has previously had. Now that they are much more common than they where previously combined with limited options for addicts. We will likely see more overdoses than ever before I wrote this crazy 馃挬 Because I want credit when this grim prediction comes to pass those whom are celebrating the small difference between 2016 and 2018 don't understand how addicts function. Given the limited options available the outcome is rather predictable and it's not a good one.
I'm not a professional nor a health care provider, I have a different kind of experience how many relatives or friends have you lost to overdoses. I have personally had 2 relatives and 6 friends overdoses in my life time. I am 29 as of 11/6 and every dead friend or relative was a heroine od or morphine and 1 to amphetamines. Recently they have been dying from suboxin and fentanyl i had 2 friends die since 2017 1 for sure was from heroine cut with fentanyl. The corner was required to perform a toxicology report due to suspicious circumstances 馃. My mother and her father are friends & her and I had been friends since childhood her parents where the ones that let us know it was fentanyl.
Nothing other than plant's should be used recreationaly & even then you should always partake responsibly. I have personally had success with Kratom I'm healthier now than when I was taking medication for my pain my blood pressure was high enough before to require blood pressure medication. About 3 months after refusing the pain killers prescribed and using Kratom instead my blood pressure had improved so much that my physician recommended that I stop taking blood pressure medication. So really Kratom has drastically improved my health.
I am sorry if this offended you in any way I hope I'm wrong and the overdoses continue to decline. From what I have witnessed I honestly believe that the only thing that changed is somehow they have effectively made heroine more dangerous and overdoses far more likely.
Sorry i haven't been posting anything about cartridges or liquidizer. At the moment I have around 14 cartridges left but I can only vape 馃槫 so fast for one person.
