Karambit is an exotic curve hook knife that has resemblance to a claw, it was used as utility blade for routine chores in agriculture for cutting grass and crops. Ancient southeast Asia people also used this typical knife for hunting until they turned it into a weapon that will protect them from wild animals in the jungles.
The most interesting in this knife is recognized and use all over the world as a weapon in this days because of effectiveness in slashing and it is very hard to disarmed.
The photo below is my personal karambit I was the one did the sketch and forge by my cousin way back 8 years ago. it is unsharpened piece of art because I'm just using it for practice to be familiar in range and approaching the opponent.
