Some Feathered Friends on a Rainy Sunday

It's been an overcast day today with a constant drizzle and intermittent light rain so I decided to stay indoors.
I'm sitting next to a warm fire with a tasty beverage next to me as I post the images I took yesterday. It was bright,sunny, and warm and the Sparrows were all over the deck feasting and squabbling over the seeds scattered there.
Lighting conditions on the deck are full, direct, sunlight and the sun is sightly in front of me :( so the subjects were all back lit.
All shots were taken with a Sigma 150-600 mm lens set at 600 mm( shot on a 1.6 crop sensor for 960 mm).
These birds are close, right at minimum focus distance for this lens or just beyond. also these images are not cropped
This ones a Dark-eyed Junco (Oregon). These Sparrows are the most common around the house here and are daily visitors (actually several times a day) weather and neighbor's cat allowing. They live here year round and nest nearby.
Another common visitor is the House Sparrow. They live here year round as well but we see less of them due to the Juncos nesting about 25 feet away.
This one lands and eyes the seeds scattered about and checks for the cat, spies the spot it wants and flits down to feed.

I hoped to get it with wings slightly open but the 4th and 5th shots in the burst were empty.
