"Love is the strongest and most powerful human feeling that exists."
- Christian González, 2020.
I grew up believing in true love and I think that has been my problem, since although I have been crazy about different girls and I have had different courtships, I do not think I have yet found a girl that I have fallen in love with, for real. And I know that I am very young and I have a whole life ahead of me so worrying about something like this at this point is counterproductive, but just as there is the possibility of meeting her tomorrow in a random place or meeting her within 10 years, there is also the possibility of never knowing her and stay alone for the rest of my life.
Or worse, knowing her and that she does not correspond to me.
That thought accompanies my love life every day, and I don't know if that makes me weak or too romantic but it is a possible scenario that worries me a lot.
To love and not be reciprocated, to stagnate in a girl and never overcome her, never to find true love, to be alone during a lifetime.
They are small but heavy thoughts that can torture any believer in love. And as a faithful believer of love, he tortures me. But don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me to believe in true love, it's the opposite, it's a fact that I love. I am lucky to say that I grew up in an excellent family, with the best parents in the world. People who showed me the true meaning of love. Staying together, growing and strengthening, will always be the most important. That while there will be hundreds of fights and differences of opinion, if love is reciprocated, there will be no obstacle that can get in the way. And, a couple does not have to think the same or never fight, because that is not what it is, a couple must respect and support each other no matter what happens, because true love is like that.
It is not perfect, it is real.
But something is certain, being a believer of love it is impossible not to suffer for it, because almost always there is some bad time when such strong feelings are linked. But when love is real, absolutely everything will be worth it and any existing pain will cease. This is how we will know when we find true love.
