Text: 1 Samuel 3:1-12
.....1Sa 3:6 And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
1Sa 3:7 Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
1Sa 3:8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.....
Samuel, a servant of the Lord always struggles to differentiate the voice of the Lord and that of man. God called Samuel but He went to Eli on three occasions thinking Eli was the one calling him. But Samuel did not yet know the Lord.
When Samuel finally heard the voice of the Lord, mysteries were revealed to him. In our daily lives,we easily identify the voice of people we know. In the same way,if one should be able to hear from the Lord, he must first know God.
When we hear the voice of God,he reveals things to us. He tells us hidden secrets. We then become a channel of communication to God and His people.
To hear from God,you must first Know Him
You need he grace
Grace is an ability for you to do what you have no power to do, and this is only given by God. You slept last night at the mercy of death but you are up this morning by His Grace. I pray for you this morning that the grace of God will always be with you all the day's of your life and you will accomplish the Lord's desires for your life. Amen.
