The rain set early in to-night,
I chose the place where I would rest
under the green wood tree,
Gay minstrel of the clime!

Let the bird of loudest lay
Brave infant of Sanctum, clear
If music and sweet poetry agree,
Hark! ah, the nightingale

As years do grow, so cares increase,
The Great Tyrannosaurus
They lie, the men who tell us in a loud decisive tone
Safe upon the solid rock the ugly houses stand

Seek not each man to please, for that
Your body's got the wrong features?
The sovereign beauty which we do admire,
O Rose, thou art sick!
