Can you disclose what your involvement in the @drugwars project will include?
I am not the best at keeping track of everyone on Steem but you offer an excellent news service for the Steem community and even outsiders.
Knowing what your role will be might give @drugwars and
@futureshock more credibility
@pennsif.
I still remember at the height of @drugwars' success, when it was trending on websites like StateoftheDapps as the #1 DAPP in the world, how
@futureshock left the Steem blockchain in exchange for rewarding people with Obyte tokens instead.
It caused HUGE backlash and ending up forcing @hightouch to allow people to get paid in Steem still.. but it was a deceptive tactic since that offer was only being used as damage control.
@futureshock led by
@hightouch I presume, walked back that deal once the hysteria had calmed down and eventually made it impossible to get rewarded in Steem on
@drugwars again (maybe they switched back now).
Then, ultimately they failed after leaving Steem (at least leaving in ways that actually mattered) I presume, hence their strategy for coming back to Steem and launching on the Steem blockchain AGAIN.
Keep in mind, they EVEN launched their FUTURE token, the token for their mother company on the Obyte blockchain, and one of their initial announcements for this insinuated that it was related to acquiring investors.
That leads me to believe that anything built with @steemit's delegation has the potential to be moved to a different blockchain if another short sighted chance of getting an easy payday occurs.
Based on what I understand, since @hightouch didn't provide enough information about the previous events when I was following him, someone(s) associated with Obyte saw that
@drugwars was trending as the #1 dapp worldwide and paid in what can almost be seen as a bribe to leave Steem and launch
@drugwars AND the token for their mother company
@futureshock on Obyte.
I also found that it's interesting that @drugwars wants to discuss what Steemit Inc. will get in return for a delegation privately... is that normal?
Any ideas from anyone else and constructive criticism about my ideas are welcome. I'm just an everyday average Steemian who witnessed @drugwars leave the Steem blockchain at the peak of its success and comeback when it didn't work out.
Let me know if I make sense or not 👍🏼
