I recently made a Buzz about an Interview where a child asks Buzz Aldrin (one of the astronauts documented in history as landing on the moon), why NASA had not gone back to the moon.
Buzz Aldrin replies by saying this:
"We didn't go there, and that's the way it happened, and if it didn't happen, it's nice to know why it didn't happen. ~ Buzz Aldrin
Let me be clear, my agenda it to: Preserve, Defend & Expand Free Speech, Decentralization & Liberty.
But 
The full video includes additional words by Buzz Aldrin, but none of the words he followed up with include an unambiguous direct statement to take back his original claim that:
[They] didn't go there.
Here are the words by Buzz Aldrin, with commentary from me:
- Money is a good thing, if you want to do things, build rockets, instead of doing the same thing over, it's going to cost more money, and other things cost more money too (in addition to paying for a moon landing attempt, the US Government had to pay for other things too, and that means there may not have been enough money to do what it took to pay for a landing on the moon), so having it cheap (it's cheaper to fake a moon landing than it is to actually do it, especially over 50 years ago), to do what the President wanted us to (there was pressure to do it within the timeframe that US President JFK set ahead of time), and what the thousands, millions of people in America, and millions of people around the world (in addition to the pressure from the US President, there was immense pressure worldwide, for NASA to complete it's mission on target, and maybe no matter what, even if it meant faking it), you know when we toured around the world after we came back, the most fascinating observation, was signs that said we did it, not just us, not just Americans but WE the world, different countries, they felt like they were part of what we were able to do, and that made us feel very good. (saying there were signs that said "We did" it, doesn't state whether the signs were right or not, and feeling good about the world feeling like they were a part of what Buzz Aldrin and NASA did, doesn't unambiguously take back what he said about not going there, since the world could feel included in what they did, not truly know what they did i.e. "What they were able to do" could = Trick the world into believing they landed on the moon."
On the contrary, this is a direct statement:
"We didn't go there, and that's the way it happened, and if it didn't happen, it's nice to know why it didn't happen. ~ Buzz Alrdrin
