I used to have a Honda Beat - a scooter. I only drove for a few kilometers about 60 kilometers back and forth. I would usually drive to my favorite cafe. The roadsides are mostly lined with sugar cane fields and rice paddies , but they looked scenic to me already. Perhaps, the reason was I've had brain surgeries , and yet I braved the roads. I sold it already because I fell twice. I was nostalgic while reading your post , and what a great place you went to.
