Always remember to look for the little things
There is always something interesting so see, you just have to look. I was about to take a picture of the crane (for my report) when I saw the mountain behind it and thought that it would make an interesting photo. I always try and entertain myself with little things, it always makes the day a little bit better.
Construction is such a necessary evil, you have to first destroy to be able to create. The site in the photograph below was part of an olive orchard which a part of had to be ripped up to make space for new reservoir infrastructure and housing. At least they will have a nice view.
One of my more interesting places I visited was the Steenbras Dam Pump Station, it is situated on top of the mountain range just above Gordon's Bay. I was allowed on to the premises to attend a meeting and snapped a quick photo of the impressive building:
This is definitely one of the places to visit with one of the best views.
