Like every year, it’s time for my boat to be serviced before the summer. I went ashore to paint my boat and maintain its mechanical parts. Every year, I service my boat at the beginning of June. This has become my annual routine.
This year June started very hot in Istanbul. That’s why I need to maintain my boat and throw it into the sea as soon as possible.
I pulled my boat to its usual spot. While I was washing my boat, a huge cruise ship passed by in the Bosphorus. Since it passed close to the Asian side, it was a little far from me.
Many people like me pull their boats and do maintenance at the shipyard. This shipyard must be printing money.
The wind died down in the Bosphorus in the evening. There were no waves in the sea. The view of the shipyard was also worth seeing.
This is my annual routine. As long as I am healthy, I will share this similar memory every year around this time.
