Hello friends of steem.
I’m posting to the blockchain today from the weedcash.network website. Weedcash.Network was the first, of the now multiple, SCOT enabled, tokenized Steem Engine tribes, and my home on the steem blockchain.
This is my new baby on its (hopefully her) first day to see the beautiful Mexican sunshine. I saw this technique with a little “greenhouse” made from a clear plastic container. In this case it’s a repurposed tomato container. I really like it. I’ll only use it for the first couple days. It helps keep the humidity in when the sun is hot and will also prevent damage from any heavy sudden rain.
We tried popping several of the seeds from the weed we got a while back. We put four or five seeds in a wet paper towel for a few days and only one seemed viable. Once it had a little root we planted it in organic potting soil from Home Depot mixed with some small gravel from the river as well as cow and chicken manure.
Down here in Mexico we don’t have access to the specialty products of the grow shops up north, so we make do with what we have. It’s forcing us to go back to the traditional, more natural, ways of farming. I’m happy for that.
So often we only reluctantly change our way of doing things, with great dismay, when we’re compelled to do so. I’ve also started making my own teriyaki sauce because it’s really hard to find down here. It’s super easy and way better, cheaper, and healthier than store bought. I can’t believe it took me so long to make the change. If you love teriyaki you should try it.
Day Two~Beginning To Stand Up To Reach For The Sun
A little boost towards the sun to catch some evening rays.
Day three, today, it opens up to show its first true leaves.
I don’t know what strain this is, but if I end up staying here for another couple months, we will get to see how it turns out. Follow me here on the weedcash network to get updates on my Mexican mystery.
