For the past year (a few months more..) I've been playing the NFT game, Alien Worlds. Basically a person can mine on one of the many planets in the game, and will get rewarded with Trillium, or TLM, the game crypto. It can be swapped for WAX, another crypto, that can be traded for BTC, HIVE, or any other crypto.
When I started playing, the act of mining was pretty lucrative as 1 TLM was worth about $0.60 usd. Depending on what tools you used (the tools are NFT's that u buy and can use in the game) a player could easily mine 5 or more TLM a day. Fast forward to it's current situation and TLM value has dropped to about $0.02 usd, and a player might mine about 2-3 TLM a day. :(
I thought it was no longer worth my time, even though it was just several clicks per hour, but had to be done at a certain time, so it was a hassle and an annoyance to me sometimes when my alarm would go off to remind me to mine.
Back in April 2022 the AW team updated the game to include bonus points which were given according to how much TLM one mined. This, at least, was a cool new thing that kept me playing until now. The tool card that I wanted was pretty high in the amount of 'NFT' points needed to exchange for it, but the lesser cards were hardly worth anything. It took me 4.5 months to get enough points, but as soon as I got it, I got my new tool NFT, sold it, and also sold the other tool NFTs I had. :)
