Brief Details
Creating this logo design for WatchNext project was really awesome as i liked the overall idea of the project. The project is all about an app that helps users find the next movie which i found really interesting. After getting in touch with the owner of the project and we discussed the ideas and the information needed for the design, i began creating concepts for the logo design.
The sketching stage was next after i had finished researching and gotten inspirations for the design. I created a couple of sketches until i was satisfied. Once i was happy with my final sketch, i went into illustrator to turn it into vector.
For this design, i wanted to create a logo that visually represents what the project is all about. I began the process in illustrator by creating a shape that looks like a "Magnifying glass" which represents the word "search". Creating it is pretty straight forward, just a hollow circle shape with thickness on the outside, added a rounded rectangular shape to form the handle. After that, i rotated the Magnifying glass symbol at an angle. The next step was to create a next symbol and add it at the center of the Magnifying glass. Finally, I added the color to complete the design.
