As a Christian you have to be knowledgeable when it comes to the Future.
the Bible is not just a book of doctrine, it is also a book of prophecy.
"I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe."
In this passage, our lord Jesus Christ was discussing the future events with his disciples. He told them this in other to be fully aware and prepared as not to panic when it happens
This supports the fact that the Bible is also a book of prophecy which gives us insight of what the future will be like.
"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."
As can be seen from this chapter, we really have the power to decide our future and what it will look like and The duty of God is to direct your steps.
With knowledge from the word of God and also being led by the spirit, Christian know how their future looks like and also have full control over it. This allows them to stay ahead of time and also ahead of others.
