God's time is usually totally different from our own expectation. God does His things with purpose and always doing it in the perfect time. What may seem like a delay to us can be a period of preparation, growth, and strengthening of our faith.
God usually fulfil his promises at the right time. Abraham waited many years for the promised son, and Joseph endured hardship before becoming a leader in Egypt. Their experiences show that God's timing is never late, even when it feels slow.
We the children of God are called to always trust God with his time. Rather than becoming discouraged, they should continue praying, obeying God, and remaining faithful, knowing that He sees the bigger picture and understands what is best.
