We, humans, have an unending list of wants and needs, however, the limited nature of available resources has restrained the actualization of those wants. The current state of Nigeria has rendered many dreams and ideas unrealistic and has even forced some into accepting what's available as their fate. As a young graduate currently serving his nation, the only thought that keeps ringing loud in my head is what post-NYSC holds for me and how not to fail anyone, especially those depending on me and those that spent a lot in making sure I was trained.
Having A Million Hive in my wallet (that's about $ 760000) wouldn't only satisfy my and immediate family's needs but also that of the people of Adaba. Firstly, I would pursue my master's degree in the field of Energy Storage at any Japanese University. During my stay in Japan, I would partner with some Japanese automobile companies in developing an e-commerce app that would allow the buying of auto spare parts from the country to Nigeria. This is to promote my brothers' businesses, as they would manage and oversee the smooth running of the app from Nigeria, in compensation for their sacrifices in training me. Thirdly, as a way to promote university education in my community, I would set up a scholarship scheme focused on helping children with great potentials especially those that can't afford it.
If only wishes were horses, beggars would ride!
