Today was wild, seriously! I'm not sure if it's because of some cosmic vibe or if something went down over the weekend, but man, things were all over the place. Some of our kids, especially those on the spectrum, were acting totally out of character. From the first class to the last, it felt like I was spending more time managing behavior than actually teaching anything.It was exhausting, to say the least.I was really looking forward to hitting the fitness studio to blow off some steam, but my plans got derailed by my poor swollen toenails from yesterday's deep ingrown dug. I did try putting my shoes in but it won't do, It was horribly painful still and even kept me up last night with the throbbing pain. Ugh!
That chocolate roll bun? That's from my boss, our head of primary inclusion team. She pulled me into the canteen to grab some sweets after seeing how tough my day was. It's her way of showing appreciation for stepping up with the kids and doing a great job. I tried to refuse, but she insisted, and I gave in out of respect. Sweet.
