My 23rd birthday at the beach!

Since I always found comfort and peace with the sounds of the waves, salty smell, and cold breeze of the ocean, I opted to celebrate by 23rd birthday at the beach. It was with great joy and excitement that I spent this special day of mine outdoor where I feel at ease.

I am not the kind of person who wish to have a fancy celebration of birthday. A grandiose birthday with gorgeous cake, buffet of food, beautiful and big event place never cross my wildest dream even before I was a kid. My ideal birthday celebration is just an intimate and simple one but of course with my loved ones. And when I got to 20s, I became more particular to my favorite place when celebrating my birthday. I always make sure that I will be spending a special day like birthday to a place that brings comfort and peace to me. That's why this year, I chose to celebrate my 23d birthday to a beach.

I spend my birthday with one of the most important person in my life, my partner/boyfriend. We opted to go to the near beach where we could do a little picnic with a can of cold beer for both of us. We just placed a mat to the sand and put everything that we brought into it. We just brought some chips and 2 cans of beer to enjoy the day.

After enjoying the beer, while waiting for the sunset, which never came, I just asked my partner to take some of photos of me who loves posing to camera. lol

And then after a couple of minutes when I am already satisfied with his shots, I asked him to go swimming and savor the moment of this outdoor little adventure of us on my special day.

23 years had passed and I could really say that it has been one hell of a ride! This adult things may be overwhelming and exhausting sometimes, but it is indeed exciting with more lessons and discoveries in life. Happy Birthday self!
