Help Simplify Cryptocurrencies and Blockchains, Please

Hi everyone,

I am glad and feel privileged to be part of this new, interesting and innovative community. However, as a novice to this type of community, I am extremely overwhelmed by the plethora of content available. Does anyone know of any simple articles or material to read to help clarify the basics for me, please?

As being a member of this community, one of the many things I hope to gain is learning from others who are well-informed and not just posting ad content related material. I hope I can learn from others and will give back in ways that are beneficial and warranted.

I am currently a graduate student living in NYC. I enjoying traveling and going to Broadway shows. Currently, I am getting excited about an upcoming 2-week trip to Scandinavia. It is my second time and the first for my Mom, who is a full Swede. We are going on a Viking cruise and I hope it is a worthwhile experience! I plan on posting some photos and sharing what I learn!

Thanks!
Chet
