Today Quix met another powerful and popular summoner - Yodin Zaku! The relatively low mana cap for this battle put Yodin at something of a disadvantage with his high cost, and Quix's abilities do well to counter those of Yodin. The ranged damage boost is negated, and the speed reduction means that Quix's units have more of a chance to eliminate at least one of Yodin's team before they can attack with their Blast damage.
Here is the starting lineup.
In this battle I didn't enter any Opportunity monsters so the focus is on taking down the front line quickly.
As you can see, this strategy worked and Cerberus was eliminated before more than a couple of his monsters could attack.
Once they got their attacks in, Yodin's team managed to eliminate the Twilight Basilisk and bring Fire Spitter down to 1 health with their Blast. This was the last damage their team would do.
The more I use Quix the more I enjoy it! He is not good against everything, but his debuffs are useful and he allows for creative team building.
