Hello everybody,
How are you getting on? Hope you always doing well, stay safe and healthy.
Covid-19 pandemic has hit the world for almost 2 years, it seems been spreading all over the world. Currently Singapore government has been implement “Living with Covid”, encourage people change the mind-set to live as normal because 84% of population has been full vaccinated. Currently, there are 98.7% from the affected people are mild symptoms or even no symptoms.
This morning, I woke up early and went to Kallang River Park connector for jogging. It is connected from Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park to Bishan-Braddell. The jogging path was built along the Kallang River. I was enjoyed the breezy, cool air while jogging along the footpath.
After the morning exercise, I went to nearby market to pack my breakfast home. The residents here remained the lifestyle as normal, go to the hawker center for breakfast and buy daily stuffs by following the safety measure set by government. Only full vaccinated people can dine in the hawker centers and each table only serve max. 2 people.
After finished my breakfast at home, I went out to Toapayoh by taking MRT. The MRT station was quite crowded.
After reached Toapayoh, I went to a grocery shop, Mr.DIY for buying some groceries and walking around in the shopping center next to the MRT station.
I was quite hungry after shopping, so I went to a nice vegetarian restaurant for lunch. It was called D-Life vegetarian restaurant. For safety measure, before and after entering the restaurant, I need to tap in and out for my attendance.
The restaurant environment was quite clean and neat, I was served by a friendly waitress and ordered my favourite vegetarian set lunch. I ordered a vegetarian Bakuteh lunch set as raining day, I felt like to drink soup to warm my stomach.
They were served after 10-15 minutes. The vegetarian herbal soup taste yummy and warming my stomach. It matching well with vege fried eggs and plain rice.
The ingredients for this herbal soup included Enoki mushrooms, fried bean curds, wolfberries, dried mushrooms, fried tofu, Lion Mane mushrooms, and cabbages.
After lunch, I took MRT to travel back to Ang Mo Kio.
Government encourage people to live as per normal and change mind-set regarding the virus and to learn living with Covid-19 since the country already achieves 84% full vaccination rate. Even though the daily cases surge up to 3000-4000 cases, there are 98.7% are mild symptom or no symptom, and 0.2% death rate. Home Recovery Programme is set for most of the Covid-19 positive patients to protect nation health care system, and do not overwhelmed.
Therefore, government gradually open the economy to help the business for many sectors out from the economy downturn.
Most of the retails main entrance are fixed with the access sensors to track the visitor’s vaccination status and attendance.
The most popular retail supermarket, Fair Price Extra is crowded all the time.
We can find all sort of daily products and stuffs in this retail supermarket.
The cashier’s counters are fixed with glass panels for Covid-19 safety measure. It is better protection for working staffs and cashiers as they need to face many customers every day.
There is only one exit and one entrance that created for control the human flow in supermarket.
All the shopping malls entrance are fixed with access sensors to track the visitor vaccination status and attendance as currently government set only full vaccinated people can entering shopping malls.
After economy is gradually opened, the scenery of crowded people can see everywhere in Singapore. People learn to change the mind set and living with Covid-19 virus.
How is your living place now? Same crowded as here.
Wishing you have a great week ahead!
