Okay, the title is kinda exaggerated. Lol. Yes, I did like him. But I don't think I've fallen in love with him. Not yet...
It was a lonely, boring afternoon. I was reading some random posts of my friends on Facebook. With different dating sites/apps that kept appearing on my news feed, I decided to try one.
I downloaded ペアーズ (Pairs), one of the top dating apps in Japan. I registered using my fb account since that's the only option. After a few hours, I received a notification saying 「いいね!」が届きました!("Like" has arrived!). I checked it and saw that the first "like" was from a certain SS-san. I viewed his profile. I was kinda attracted with his nice smile so I clicked the "arigatou/thankyou" button to let him know that I 'like' him, too.
Hours passed. I thought our interaction would just end there. Strings haven't been attached yet, so it's okay. Then unexpectedly, I received another notification. SSさんから新着メッセージが届いています!New message from SS-san has arrived!
At first, we just exchanged the usual kind of hi-hello-nice-to-meet you messages. He was nice so I agreed to exchange LINE IDs and continued our conversation there.
We talked about random things comfortably. So comfortable and open that we didn't even want to sleep. And we did that for four days straight.
I think it would be nice if we could actually talk in person and have something, like matcha.
Yeah, I think so too! 😃
I get up in the morning, go to work, then go back to sleep at night. I was just working every day until I met you... Keeping in touch and talking with you like this make my heart beats again. From the bottom of my heart, I want to know more about you~
The actual text is in japanese and this translation isn't 100% accurate. But to be honest, the original version sounds way better. I was smiling while reading it. Lol.
I think meeting you is destiny.Oh, what a sweet guy! 😊
However, we had a problem. A simple problem that ended everything... before we even start it. Sad? Kinda.
