Good afternoon dear HIVEBLOG readers. Today I want to offer you my latest lyrical work. It is a prophetic poem, whose theme revolves around the uncertain destiny of humanity. It also represents a call to reflect on everything that is happening in the world and what we allow to happen.
The poem is made up of four stanzas. Each stanza consists of four lines and each line contains twelve metric syllables (dodecasyllable).
Throughout the poem, assonant and consonant rhymes can be seen. The first verse rhymes with the fourth and the second with the third (ABBA). We can see this rhythmic pattern in each stanza.
The poem is presented in image form thanks to using the Keep Notes application on my realme C21-Y phone.
Sinister Omen
Fragile sailboat lost on the high seas, Wandering seagull of dark destiny. Thorns will abound on your path That, with pride, you sowed without thinking.
The wind brings pestilent whispers
And a sinister omen lurks for everyone:
The harvest will be very bitter fruit
What will happen to the most innocent.
Without return, time fades away;
Tears will never put out the fire.
The worst blind man, the one who, because of his ego,
He ignores what happens in his world.
Those who sowed the seed of death,
Fearful, they hide from their castles;
But if you carve your destiny with shadows,
A darle certainly will be your luck.
