The world of crypto has opened up a whole new world of finance, technology, job opportunities and a new approach to how we see the world and interact with one another.
If you’ve been in the space long enough, set up a wallet, a node, mined crypto, used De-Fi, minted an NFT and even understand the terms I’m using, you’ll know how deep the rabbit hole is and how far it still goes.
All these concepts breed new skills and new ways of thinking and a fancy new vocabulary to go along with it. In all seriousness, though, if this is the way the world is going, then you can imagine that being early and understanding first principles are going to position you in a unique opportunity for new income streams.
In the last four years, I've learned so much about technology, the economy, the financial system, consumer behaviour, geopolitics and it's given me a new perspective on life, business and the way I see the world.
Applying my skills in crypto
I've been a marketer for 8 years now, and in the digital economy, traffic is the lifeblood of any business. I've been lucky enough to apply my skills in crypto, helping crypto exchanges drive traffic and convert users. I've been able to leverage my data analysis techniques not only to marketing but to user experience, messaging campaigns and improving the product.
While I think I am still early, I think in future, these skills will set me apart from other marketers. Having been involved in crypto from a personal standpoint and now bringing those two interests together, I am sure, will bring me more opportunities.
Bring your skills to crypto
That's why I encourage people to try out crypto, buy a small amount, go out and earn a small amount but get off zero. Once you're off zero, learn to operate a wallet, an exchange, and get to know the ecosystems you like best.
Each crypto user we onboard bring with them a fresh set of eyes, ideas and expertise. The longer some of us are in the space, the more ideas crystalise, and we cannot see past certain things. It takes the newbies to come in and shake us out of our funk, and set crypto projects on a new path.
Each project you help improve means others need to catch up, and that becomes the new floor. It might not seem like it, but we're all a hive mind of testers and contributors building brand new systems, and it's exciting to be a part of it.
