I wouldn't say its much different from the rest of the world, we're just really bad at hiding it. What makes me sad is that we as South African's want to continue to bump out heads with the status quo. Government has failed and you can put a new face on it, it's not going to work.

Strip it down make it leaner and give influence back to the people. Stop hoarding capital and telling the South African people who generate an income that you know better what to do with their money then they do.

To me, I see it as a crutch being used by an able-bodied person thinking they are sick. I believe that South Africans are resourceful people. Less tax, smaller government and make it easier for small and informal businesses to grow.
