My alarm has been of really great use, especially in the last few months. So when some people say that they barely remember that it's on their phones, I cannot relate.
Earlier on in the year, I had to use it a lot because I had to meet with schedules, appointments, I even used it for daily, routine goals. On some days, we had some smooth sail, other days, it was epileptic.
If my alarm could speak, it would mostly go, "hey girl, rise and shine," or "hey girl, it's fine to smash some goals." I'm assuming it would be soft and well spoken. You have to realize that the way you treat it determines how well it will reat you in return.
I don't always neglect mine. Once it goes off with the first ring, am up. I turn it off that instant so it doesn't lose its voice screaming. Thing is, I only sleep in complete quietness, and so any little sound, am jumping out of bed.
Maybe it'll be a good thing if my alarm speaks because first, we'd have to thrash out the issue of why all of its sounds and ringtones come off angry. Cause when it does, i awake with a start and my heart thumping against my chest. We'll talk about a better replacement, something soft to get me up. Maybe it could play a song I like or just sing my praises, you know.
Still, there will be days when my alarm will go berserk and scream down the roof. Days when it wakes me up with "what exactly is this nonsense? Stop this disrespect!," "peel your lazy self away from that bed this minute! Those would be the days when I set an alarm, say for 3am and when it goes off at the set time, I reset it for 3:30am and when it goes off, I reset again for 4:20am and that way it goes until it's full blown morning. Those are my lazy days.
My alarm would definitely ramble on and on about being overworked for nothing. Alarms generally would be very talkative should they be able to speak. It would go on about being disrespected inspite of it's hardwork to stay awake while I sleep just so it could help me meet deadlines and if it is possible, it may bite off my fingers should I make to touch and reset it yet again.
