I don’t know what is wrong with kids nowadays
So, since I went visiting my aunt, out of boredom, I decided to hold a short home lesson session with them.
I asked my Aunt's son;
"Ossy, what is 500 – 250?"
He kept mute. He was moving his
mouth, closing his eyes and tapping his head lightly like he knew the answer but it just escaped him.
So I asked again;
"Ossy, if I give you 500 naira and you buy biscuits and juice for 250 how much change would you receive?
Him: 250 naira.
Again, I asked, "so what is 500 – 250?"
Can you imagine that this boy was looking at me like he had never heard those numbers before?
Who but him.answered the question when it had to do with money?
He was giving off this typical Igbo businessman vibe.
Kids these days!...The only thing they understand is calculation in naira and money. If it’s not business, then, forget it.
Tsk!
And that's my participation for the Ecency Support Community Contest.
Thanks for gracing this post.
