Quantum teleportation is a known algorithm and does in fact work in practice. However, the state of the particle is transferred, not the particle itself. Calling it teleportation is a bit of a misnomer.

"rewards weren't yours until pay out" it is akin to working a job for a week and at the end your employer removing your wage stating that it wasn't yours because you haven't received it yet I

I will compress the food into hard pellets and blast them at the fish with a paintball gun.

Haha damn, I was gonna say that.

BTW, thanks for the upvote! Your name is familiar, I believe I followed you in the Steem days... Not sure why I'm not following any more, potentially some technical glitch, or a result of the fork to HIVE?

There are some amazing cycling trails and mountain bike trails within short walking distance from where I took the photos. Durban is perfect in winter! Hoping to spend a weekend or two exploring the

The Cape Fold is absolutely beautiful! Even without the hadeda, that is unmistakably the Western Cape. Nice photos!

For me, requiring an email address defeats the point of claiming anonimity. Perhaps a captcha would be good, to prevent abuse by bots. I'm going to put some thought into this as I think it might be a cool

Oh wow! I had no idea about the health benefits, I just love the flavour.

Perhaps this could be done by setting up an anon account and then providing posting permission from that account to the various frontends. Not sure how viable it is since, as you rightly pointed out, it

Nice! I'm not too far behind you. Should reach 100POB power next week.

That recipe looks great, apart from the tofu. I might substitute grilled halloumi instead.

You're certainly correct that melting sea ice won't raise sea levels :)

If the ice melts that is under the water level, then the volume of the water will drop, severly This is incorrect. Ice floats. The part that is under water provides buoyancy to support the part that is

As far as I know, the forerunners in the quantum computing space are companies like IBM and Google... not governments.

Really wish hive supported LaTeX equations with the $$ syntax!

Languages that do symbolic maths, such as the Wolfram language, seem to do a bit better on this front:

It gets even weirder! I tried this in clojure... (* 0.000001 125) => 1.25E-4 (* 0.0000001 125) => 1.2499999999999999E-5 This is the same as your result. But then go one step further: (* 0.00000001

Perhaps quantum computing is just not the right tool for classification problems? I know that VQE (Variational Quantum Eigensolver) has proven to be really useful in optimisation problems.

Hahaha amazing!
