Heya everyone,
This is my first blog post here on the blockchain! I only just joined hive yesterday so I'm still in the process of figuring it all out. However, I thought I'd go ahead and write my first post to introduce myself. As that's the proper and decent thing to do.
I'm Charlie Smith. A pretty common name I know, but I promise my music isn't as common as my name 🤣 I write songs in the alternative genre and most of my tracks are acoustic, but not all. I used to play in a punk band pre-covid but for over a year no I've been working hard on my own music.
Outside of music, I also have done a bit of blogging and story writing over on vocal.media I also stream for fun on twitch.tv As well as hosting some music streams over there I also play some more of the retro games.
Sport wise I'm into some 'unusual stuff'; cricket and snooker. Quiet the combo. I'm sure that would bore the hell out of some here, so I'll leave it at that.
I'm looking forward to sharing more of my content on the blockchain as I look for ways to grow my music outside of established saturated methods and make new friends. I find the world of crypto very interesting. I think overall it has a lot of potentials to reward honest and hard-working curators who often go underappreciated on the main platforms. If you want to connect drop a comment. Look forward to seeing what the blockchain has to offer.
Charlie
