Last summer, Barcelona lost out in the high-profile pursuit of Antoine Griezmann. He choose rather to say in athletico Madrid instead. Eovaldi believes that Lionel Messi could have something to do with the why Barcelona didnt get him.
Riavldo who played for Barcelona between 1997 to 2002, said:
“I am not disappointed that Griezmann did not sign for Barcelona as every player has his own way of seeing things,”
“There are many great players at Barcelona and it’s hard being in Messi’s shadow.
“(Griezmann is) a world champion that I like very much as a player.”
