The 28 Years old Gourav Mukhi made history as the youngest player ever to score in the Indian super league. It came as a shocker when he was exposed as a liar and an imposter. Mukhi is actually 28 years old but had always pissed or presented himself to be 16 years old.
He was recently suspended as evidence presented against him presented him as a fraud; claiming that he is a 16 years old teenager whereas he is 12 years older.
The historic goal came when the Jamshedpur FC striker Mukhi scored a 2:2 equalizer against Bengaluru FC. He was unable to prove his age and was therefore suspended for 6 months with immediate effect. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Disciplinary Committee found Mukhi guilty of fraud therefore suspended him.
Back in 2016, he was not allow to compete in the U16 because he was too old.
