Nigeria who is currently the defending champions of the competition are yet to qualify and are actually struggling with qualifying for the competition. The match went badly for the Nigerian team who became one man down when the goal keeper Adamu Abubakar was red carded in the first half of the game. The match started with a goal from Zakaria. Then came the red card before why first half was over which crippled the Nigerian team. Then came the 2nd goal in the second half.
Nigeria will again face the North Africans in the reverse match at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on Monday.
