Southampton were dealt with yesterday by the gunners. The match ended with a 2:0 win as Arsenal netted both goals in the first half of the match. The first goal came when Alexandre Lacazette moved quickest to turn in Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s shot.
The second goal came shortly after through Mkhitaryan.
Arsenal had more chances to score in the first half but the two goals was more than enough to move them back to the fourth position ahead of Manchester united. Arsenal as a team has not been consistent in the second half of the league. They have often won and lost over and over in the last 10 games.
Its was easy for Arsenal to have won Southampton because they have a very disorganised defense that can easily be be penetrated by anything in the world.
Arsenal exhibited dominance in that match and this was seen as they had 11 shots in the first half.
