One of the projects I'm working on is getting my Google Cloud Professional Architect certification done. Challenging to say the least. The biggest one is the breadth of knowledge required:
- Compute
- Storage
- Networking
- Kubernetes / Docker
- Security
- Big Data / AI solutions
These are pretty much the main areas. My weakest area is Kubernetes / Docker. I haven't had much experience working with them, coming from a programming background, so I really need to practise here.
Fingers crossed and I pass on my first attempt, which will be sometime in May. After that, we'll see what I do with the cert.
