I have been on Matic before Polygon just as cheap alternative for eth. Gas was so high. When they changed to Polygon, the network boomed and many new projects came in. I like Polygon and can recommend it to every small investor, not only for saving transaction fees. Some projects pushed some serious money into Polygon to support and push the network.
For example: You lended your Matic and other coins, rented some Matic or another coin and invested it on other sites. You got interests for lending plus an additional bonus in Matic, had to pay for renting, but you also got Matic for doing it and you got interests on the site you invested your rented coin. That was crazy!
