I think there are a few things that pushes bitcoin. The first thing which comes into my mind is the global pandemic and the followed economic crisis which many companies have to deal with now and for the next years. The second thing is the inflation rate. People are trying to save their hard earned money. Since insurance doesn't make much sense because it's also use fiat money, people look for other possibilities like gold, silver and bitcoin for a safe haven. The 3rd thing is like a friend of my often said: Supply shock. Large investments have been made in the last months and these guys will not sell as they stated multiple times. Bitcoin is here to stay. So you get less and less BitCoins which also increases the price.
These are the main reasons for me.
