This compilation of dishes has whetted my appetite. I have had the opportunity to try Vepřo-knedlo-zelo but more in German version. It is a proper hearty dish. My favorite is Guláš as its tender, slow cooked meat has a unique flavor. In Hungary and I think part of Russia they put a bit sour cream on it. Is this also done in the Czech Republic?
