In one of the deserted villages of the Ulyanovsk region, a former church building rises. The altar in it is in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God. The church was built in 1899, and not only villagers came here, but also people from neighboring villages. During the Soviet era, the church was closed, and it seems there was some kind of grain storage there. Gradually, the village died out, and the church remained the only more or less intact building on the village territory. There is nothing valuable or interesting inside, but the atmosphere of the place itself is very impressive.
