Tatarstan, village Kolunets. There is an abandoned church built in 1817. It was illuminated in honor of the Archangel Michael, the “Joy of All Who Sorrow” and the icon of the Mother of God. During Soviet times it was closed and later abandoned. In mid-2010, a group of volunteers began restoration work. But something didn’t work out. There is currently no work being carried out on the building
