Thanks be to God almighty may the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.
Indeed it was a great moment in the presence of God and also another opportunity to listen to the doctrine of Christ on the third day of the mcgi glorious Thanksgiving service and I learned that a good man brings forth that which is good and also an evil man cannot bring anything good, I have learn a lot in this past three days program and I don’t want to miss out any of the programs.
Luke 6:45 here i learned that a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth that which is good and an evil man out of the treasure of his heart bringeth that which is evil for abundant of his mouth speaketh, obviously noting good can come out of an evil person because evil can only produce evil but a good man with the spirit of God in him brings forth good because good lives in him, we should be good and live according to the will of God for us and we must be good to our fellow men that’s a way of fulfilling the doctrine of Christ.
1st Corinthians 7:5 here the Bible say defraud ye not one the other except it be with concept for a time that ye May give yourselves to fasting and prayer and come together again that satan tempt you not for your incontinency, when we fast we should not meet our spouse until the fasting is over and we can come together again so that the devil not come and distract us, we should be in spirit when we fast and pray we should stay away from flesh demands and focus on what we are looking for which is Christ and God will hear our prayers.
Mathew 6:18 here I learn that it is not good to let another person know that you fast, fasting should be between you and God and not you and men. When you pray in secret God who is secret will hear you and he will attend to your request, it’s says here that thou appear unto men to fast but unto thy father which is in secret and thy father which seeth in secret shall reward you openly. According to brother Eli prayer is a request or a petition to God, we are asking God for something not men so that is why we must talk to God I’m secret so that he will reward us openly.
Colossians 3:2 I learned and understand that we should always set our affections on things on high which is heaven and not earthly things, when we make heaven our goal God will help us achieve it but when we make earthly things our goals we find it difficult to achieve them so we must make God our all in all so that things will be better and easy for us, it says here set your affections on things above not on things on earth. May God help us to focus on the things above amen.
