Wat Phumin (Phumin Temple) is located in the heart of Nan. In the past, Wat Phumin is the Royal temple where the place was named Wat Phrommintar, built around the year 1539.In the temple, there are 4 large Buddha statues and a mural painting of Nan style.
The most famous image is a picture of a man and a woman, they are talking to her grandfather and grandmother, which can be regarded as a picture of “Whisper love to the world".Thai people believe that if couple desire to have love, stability and live long can pray in front of picture. By couple need to whisper to lover in front of “grandfather and grandmother “picture. If couple told love in front of this picture, Couple will have longevity, stability and wealth in couple life.
